  1. Welcome to CD-Funhouse version 10 !!!     (c) 1994

  3. This disc contains over 800 hand-picked games for the macintosh.  
  4. The games have been separated in to several categories 
  5. and a database of the games has been created for your convenience.
  6. You can access the games either through the database interface
  7. or by browsing the folders through the Finder. Register and receive 
  8. information about special offers and upgrades!  Use the enclosed 
  9. registration card or the file "Register.txt".
  10.  
  11. ***BONUS***
  12. The featured games are located in a directory called BONUS in the
  13. PC directory for those of you that can't wait to get your hands on
  14. them.  ENJOY!!!
  15.  
  16. **IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT SHAREWARE: Most of the programs provided
  17. are shareware and require that you send a payment to the program 
  18. author if you decide to keep and use a program past the shareware 
  19. trial period.  The necessary information about the author can be 
  20. found in the provided database, in text files in the folders, 
  21. and within the program.

  23. FINDING OUT ABOUT THE PROGRAMS BEYOND BROWSING THE FOLDERS.
  24. We have provided an indexed TextWare database that allows you
  25. to read about the games, find out about their authors, shareware 
  26. fee, rating, location on the CD-ROM, and search for any text.  
  27. This database also allows you to access the programs without using 
  28. DOS.

  31. GETTING STARTED (using the TextWare Index):
  32.  
  33.     1.  Double-click the MAC folder.
  34.     2.  Double-click the CDFUN.TWC folder.
  35.     3.  For help with running Textware, refer to Textware 
  36.         directions inlcluded with the disc packaging or 
  37.         the on-line manual for help running textware.
  38.  
  39. The programs on the disc have been categorized within the 
  40. database.  These categories are:
  41.  
  42.     1.    Run Me          
  43.         -This option will execute the program 
  44.         from the CD-ROM without installing it 
  45.         on your hard drive.
  46.  
  47.     2.    Install Me
  48.         -This option calls the program to execute 
  49.         its install procedure.  This will install
  50.         the program on your hard disk.
  51.  
  52.     3.    Take Me There
  53.         -This option temporarly exits Textware to 
  54.         the DOS directory where the program is 
  55.         located.
  56.  
  57. To execute these options, simply move the cursor (with the mouse or 
  58. arrow keys)  to the highlighted area.  Then click with the mouse or 
  59. press enter.  Some programs may not execute properly from the CD-ROM 
  60. and may require that they be installed on your hard drive.  Each 
  61. program should execute properly if the program and all of its related 
  62. files are copied to an unlocked media (hard or floppy drive).
  63.  
  64. TROUBLE-SHOOTING:
  65.  
  66. Computer does not recognize the disc:
  67. -Often this problem can be solved by cleaning the surface of the 
  68.  disc.  Before cleaning, examine the surface of the disc by 
  69.  looking at the bottom of disc while tilting it back and forth 
  70.  near a light.  Problems may be a scratch in the bottom, finger 
  71.  prints, smudges, dust, or anything that would effect proper reading 
  72.  of the disc.  If the disc is dirty, you can clean it by eiusing 
  73.  a clean cloth and gently rubbing from the center of the disc to the 
  74.  edge.  DO NOT RUB THE DISC IN A CIRCULAR MOTION!!!  
  75.  
  76. -Make certain your CD-ROM drive is plugged in, turned on, and 
  77.  all of the proper connections to your computer are made.
